Cecelia and her daughter Amethyst Rose live in a gorgeous cozy apartment in Shoreline, just north of Seattle. Last month I joined them for crafting time and together time because capturing our ordinary lives is MAGICAL!
Cecelia is a talented illustrator and she gave me a tour of her studio that she shares with her daughter and then we painted dinosaurs at the kitchen table and explored Cecelia's inspirational sketch book. If you are as inspired by her as I am - check out more of her work HERE. In case your worried about little orphan annie on the left there, please know that the pictures of Amethyst Rose looking tragic are some of my favorite but she was only sad for an entirety of ONE MOMENT. So don't come at us all worried about that baby. That baby is HAPPY.
All in all, it was an utterly lovely way to pass an afternoon in late autumn, as the sun streamed in through the windows and we all chatted about our Christmas present DIY plans and our experience as lady artists.
If you are a lady artist who would like to be featured in my lady artists of the Pacific Northwest series, click the contact button in the upper right hand corner and lets make a plan! I'm trading portraits for art or crafts or whatever awesome thing it is that you MAKE. So click Contact and lets inspire each other!
Otherwise, enjoy the pictures below and stay tuned for when I post the illustrations of me and my family that Cecelia is handcrafting as we speak. EEEEEeeeee I'm so excited!
