Welcome to another addition of our beautiful ordinary life in Seattle!
I know we are four days out from Christmas and I have NO HOLIDAY content for you all. I'm sorry! Bad Blogger LeannaBre!
Tragically I have not been feeling inspired by sparkly lights and the winter darkness and in my personal work I do not FORCE inspiration when it does not come knocking. Now, on the other hand, if you hire me to work - I will chase down inspiration in every single corner she has ever hidden in and MAKE HER GIVE UP the goodies for our shoot. Have no fear.
In lieu of Holiday Fare, I thought i would introduce a my first series on the blog! Eeeee I'm so excited.
Now lots of photographers choose to keep their personal work off their professional blogs. I would like to state hereby that I am supportive of any and all boundaries that help people manage their lives. Good for you y'all. You do you.
BUT this space is about me finding my groove, and for me - I find that I am still learning how to articulate what I do and why I do it and still figuring out how to help people imagine what it would be like to get in front of my camera (since it is different from being in front of anyone else camera) and I have decided that one of the best ways to do it is with this series called "Our Beautiful Ordinary Life" that will show little mini shoots I do of my husband and kids and neighbors and school. I hope they will help you imagine what it would be like if we took these of YOU.
So enjoy these tiny's living their best life in a giant pine tree (somewhat festive????). scroll to the bottom to see Zenobia cuddle with her Dad after a good climbing session. And stay tuned - this will be a reoccurring segment here on the blog!
